Dr. Who BBC Website

I’m a fan of the new Dr. Who series on BBC, especially the series featuring David Tennant.  I’ve visited the official BBC Website, and I have to say that I am frustrated by it. There are lots of great features, such as a comic maker and video extras. Yet they are not available to anyone accessing the internet from outside the UK. I understand that international audiences are a few weeks behind the UK when it comes to airing episodes, so there is a fear of giving away plot details.  But once an entire series has aired in a particular country, shouldn’t the restrictions be lifted in that country?

Dr. Who is shown in North America via the Sci-Fi channel. Their official website is nicely designed, but only features basic information about the show.
